Protecting your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, Bavarian Data Protection Act – BayDSG).

Newsletter Registration & Forms (WPForms)

When you register for our newsletter using the form on our website, we process the data you enter (e.g., name and email address) to handle your requests and send you regular project updates.

  • Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): If you have consented to data processing or a data processing contract exists, and the processing is carried out using automated means, you may have the right to data portability.
If you exercise any of these rights, the public authority will verify whether the legal requirements have been met.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Commissioner (Bayerischer Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz), Wagmüllerstraße 18, 80538 Munich, Germany.

We inform you separately about your right to object and right to withdraw consent:

  • Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you. Where the statutory requirements are met, we will subsequently cease processing your personal data.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR): You may withdraw previously granted consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
Operation of the Web Server

When accessing our web servers (e.g., via app or browser), we automatically collect the following access logs:

  • The page from which the file was requested
  • The name of the requested file
  • The date and time of the request
  • The volume of data transmitted
  • The access status
  • The description of the web browser type and operating system used
  • The IP address of the requesting computer
Purpose and Legal Basis

We process this data primarily to ensure seamless use and maintenance of our platform, as well as network and information security. Such information may be evaluated statistically to optimize our platform and underlying systems. Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. e GDPR in conjunction with Art. 6 (3) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) BayDSG for the operation of our platform.

  • 1. Recipients: THI only shares your data where legally permissible or with your consent. Beyond this, no data transfer occurs.
  • 2. Storage Period: Your data is deleted after 90 days at the latest.
  • 3. Mandatory Provision: Providing the aforementioned personal data is not legally or contractually required. However, without this data, the platform’s functionality cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, objection is excluded.

  • Recipients: Recipients may include service providers acting as processors for THI, bound to data privacy compliance in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Beyond this, your data is not shared.
  • Storage Period: We retain your data until you request deletion, withdraw your consent, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply, subject to mandatory statutory retention periods.
  • Mandatory Provision: Providing personal data is voluntary. However, we cannot process your inquiry without it.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy occasionally to reflect current legal requirements or operational changes, such as introducing new services. The revised privacy policy will apply to your subsequent visits.
