We are a group of researchers, practitioners, authors, and science fiction enthusiasts.

Since July 2023, we have been working together on various topics and current issues surrounding Science Fiction Thinking.

In doing so, we are primarily concerned with the following questions:
What contribution can science fiction make to futures studies?

What does Science Fiction Thinking mean as a future skill?

How can ideas from science fiction be utilized?
In our project

FOREXSCIFI. Foresight Extraction from Science Fiction Literature

we aim to make 43,000 German-language science fiction works

usable for foresight with the help of LLMs.
